Is this a real certificate? +
Yes. The letter is signed by a therapist licensed in your state or province. We hold a copy on AntoNika letterhead for verification; the original — with your diagnosis — stays privately on your device. We do not store medical data on our servers.

What if the therapist declines? +
You still keep the Pet ID, the digital passport, and reminders for vaccinations and treatments — independent of the ESA outcome. If you'd like a second opinion, you can re-book a consultation for $100.

Why a permanent Pet ID? +
Because identity should outlast a single certificate. Your companion's ID is the anchor for vet records, lineage documents, lost-and-found, and the next thing we build — vet-side access, AI care assistant, and the rest of the Almanac.

Where does the QR scan lead? +
A public verification page with your pet's photo, name, ID, and ESA status. A 6-digit PIN unlocks a deeper view (vaccinations, treatments) — useful for landlords, airlines, or vets in another city.
